• Pay specialists directly for services rendered

4.2 For Specialists

You agree to:

• Maintain all required licenses, insurance, and certifications
• Provide accurate business information and qualifications
• Respond to quote requests professionally and promptly
• Deliver services in accordance with industry standards
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users

6. Fees and Payments

6.1 Homeowner Fees

Our quote connection service is free for homeowners. You are responsible for negotiating and paying specialists directly for any services you choose to purchase.

6.2 Specialist Fees

Specialists may be charged fees for platform access, lead generation, or other services. All fees will be clearly communicated and agreed upon before charges are incurred.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Smart Home Quotes or its licensors and is protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of services provided by specialists. All contracts and agreements are between homeowners and specialists directly.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Home Quotes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or services obtained through the Platform.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Smart Home Quotes, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Dispute Resolution
